belonging to the generation of Popeye and his spinach powers I was force fed (slimy) spinach as it was the one thing that my parents really could grow. This was always because needed the iron apparently.

When I was at college I then found out that Spinach actually found it hard to increase the store of iron one had!! I was not impressed.

We should be fine even if there is less available from raw as if you are like me you have it with other items suggested in the article in smoothies or salads nearly every day.

you can see why it is described as one of the best veggies.

For protection against so many diseases spinach rates highly -- I have just had a spinach, celery, grape and ginger smoothie before coming to look here. Yum!!

Maybe that's why I crave spinach w/strawberries. I'm out of berries and it doesn't taste the same in the morning.
