Hi, my name is Karen, I live in South Carolina and I've been spending lots of money on books, e-books, DVD's (Alissa's, Dr. Graham's, 30 days raw) and boy am I confused. I will be posting questions in the other sections. I hope you can help me. I am 43, have osteoporosis, (but I've been active all my life - must have been the poor SAD diet we all grew up with). I am not sure if I want to be 100% raw, but I really need to stop the stressing about what I eat. Raw did help me lose those very stubborn last 10 lbs, but I started to get really stressed about all the grocery shopping and cleaning veggies, etc. Anyway, I hope to feel the wonderful transformation I am supposed to feel being raw. Thank you.

Welcome Karen - I wish you the best of rawesome health!! It can really be confusing out there, can't it? You've stumbled upon the reality - that everyone has an opinion on how to do this. What you need to do it read through and see which one(s) truly ressonate for you and then don't go looking for other opinions. Listen to your body, and do what makes YOU feel your best. The truth is that no lifestyle will make you feel optimal if you're spending your days stressing out about it. If 100% is not for you - that's fine:D. It may not be so this week or ever. Not everyone on this board is 100%. I'm not - I try to stay high raw - I don't always, and I don't beat myself up about it, either...and you know what? I am happy, healthy, and often mistaken for being in my late teens/early twenties! (I am 42)
Hope to see you around!

Wow, what a relief. This really does help. So, I can only do the best I can do, and STOP BEATING myself up. I appreciate the kind words. Looks like I have lots of reading (other posts) to do. Seems to be a lot of women out there that feel the same stress with trying to be so perfect. Thanks again. K
