? about a vitamix

I just received my vitamix,yippee ,lol
but is it supposed to have a tight fit on the base,mine seems like it just sits on,no firmness to it like my other blenders.
just want to make sure this is right.

yeah that's how it works. it seems loose, but the nuts fit tight in the middle. also if you ever have questions the customer service is great.
