View Full Version : Anyone else ever done this?

This Summer it's been very light eating. I was wondering if anyone has ever taken ONE food and just called it that for the day?
For instance, 1 day carrots, the next day apples, the next day melon, etc??
Lately my body is sorting things out in a manner I've not heard of in anyone else.
Tell me I'm not just schitzo.

I am doing that lately too, but it's because I'm trying to figure out what my body can handle since I have heartburn so bad..

There are people who do the "monodiet" once in awhile. Sometimes you come by it naturally and other times it's intentional.
In Alissa's book she recorded a week of what she ate...and one day was all persimmons.
I do this with berries or oranges...I don't know why. Just the craving.
Search monodiet with the banana!:)

I've done that many times. It can be quite healthy.

I tend to do that too but I mix that one thing with others. It is just the main thing I eat for a block of time. I think its perfectly natural and in nature most foods are only in season for a short period of time so our bodies are used to eating one thing for short blocks of time. Just make sure you add in a few others so you can get a good balance of all the nutrients you need.
