I was wondering what everyone's feelings or what information everyone knew about the 'need' for women to receive tests that they are 'suppose' to get at certain times in their live, such as mammograms, PAP smears, etc. I would like to never have to visit a doctors office again in my lifetime, unless of course i break a bone, but is this possible for me as a member of the 21st century<pollution, etc>

You are going to get differing opinions.....some a little heated. Better to do a banana search and see how we have addressed the issues in the past.

I think it's still important to get your regular checkups with the doctor just to make sure. Just because you're raw doesn't mean you can never get sick. i would rather be safe than sorry. but it's a personal decision.

are you or have you ever been sexually active? if yes, then annual paps is a definite YES. especially with diseases such as HPV so prevalent: it can show no symptoms and eventually turn into cervical cancer if it goes unchecked. yikes!
