hello,
I am coming up on my 1 year anniversary of being a vegetarian ( would never thought it would be possible ). I have just recieved Alissa's book, and I have what is probably a dumb question.
What is the difference between a living diet and a raw diet? Are they both the same?
If anyone has a pretty easy meal recipe I would appreciate them :)
thanks for your help
chuck :)

Hey Chuck! Congrads on being vegetarian! Cool beans!
No difference. Living foods ARE raw foods. Although some folks would say eating raw meat would be considered a raw diet....blech!!!
My easy recipe? Green smoothies!!!

A living diet is eating stuff that would potentially grow if you planted it. A raw diet might simply mean uncooked or unheated. The former you can be SURE is raw. The latter - not always. ;)

Thanks for the suggestions and recipes. I have been drinking Green Smoothies to close to a year now and do not know if I could function the rest of the day without it.

I love salads. Just throw whatever sounds good in with your greens. Today I did kale with avocado mushed up in it with tomatoes salt and some olive oil and lemon juice. (it's in Alissa's book) yummy!
