Well, I'm back...I think? I haven't been on the raw diet in about two years and I miss it. I want to come back, but with school it's very hard to do. I want to do a whole food diet and incorporate more raw foods into my diet. And going raw is putting a strain on my wallet.

I went on weight watchers after raw last summer and am now at 260, after trips and such. I was down to 248. I began my weight loss journey at my heaviest: 303.

Welcome back!
Raw foods are not the cheapest, but the simpler you eat the more economical it can be. This is the best time of the year to get started! My tastes have changed so much since going raw that I am satisfied with much less food now.
I personally find that I only have control of my eating if I eat all raw. That's just me.
Best wishes on your raw journey!

Welcome back...
I'm in the same boat, have in the past not been able to stay raw due to financial limitations, but finally decided that when I run outa produce, that's when I need to fast, do the master cleanse, or something similar...

...also alternating days of eating less with eating more can really get your metabolism going, keeps it uncertain & running full speed...but don't try that if bein' a little hungry will brign on binging!

Cheaper foods ends up costing more, in the long run, not just in our health, but also cuz it takes more to satisfy, & meat, dairy & take-out/ordering in are FAR more expensive per meal that even all organic produce!

I think it boils down to (for me, anyways) how much do we really want it? Enough to cut entertainment costs? Cut off the cable? Long-distance? Switch to 2nd hand things instead of new? (Join Freecycle!)

It CAN be done, for most everyone, if they want it bad enough!

{I finally do!}

Thank you so much guys for your support! I've mainly come back to get ideas for helping my metabolism and food ideas. I miss the raw foods!

But I really want to go vegan more than anything with raw influences. I know the philosophy here is 100% raw vegan, but it's hard when I have a meal plan. They finally have vegan food at the college. But I will try my best. I'm going to join LA Fitness and take pilates, which should be fun!
