Okay, so I was bored...another parody...this one to the tune of American Pie. :)

A long, long time ago...
I can still remember
How a burger used to make me smile.
And I knew if I had my chance,
That I would stay away from plants
And maybe I'd be happy for a while.

But all the meat hurt my liver
And the lard made me shiver.
Bad news from my scale,
My diet was derailed.

I can't remember if I cried
When I read I should stop eating fried,
But something touched me deep inside
When I got Alissa's guide.

So bye-bye to the cooked food and pie,
Went hardcore at the raw store,
And got my raw food supply.
And them good ol' boys were eatin' burgers and fries
Singin', "this'll be the day that I die.
"This'll be the day that I die."

Did you write the book of RAW,
And do you read about fudge balls in total awe,
When Alissa tells you so?
Do you believe in leafy greens,
Can RAW make you fit into your jeans,
And can you tell me where to find mango?

Well, I know that you're in love with it
'Cause I saw you say you'd never quit.
You ate RAW the day through,
Man I dig those herbs that you grew!

I was a lonely cooked food broncin' buck
With a grill, a stove, and some ground beef chuck,
But I knew I was out of luck
When I got Alissa's guide.

I started singing,
Bye-bye, to the cooked food and pie,
Went hardcore at the raw store,
And got my raw food supply.
And them good ol' boys were eatin' burgers and fries
And singin', "this'll be the day that I die.

Now for one week my sprouts have grown,
And flax grows fat while it soaks alone,
But that's not how it used to be.
When cooked seemed like the only means,
Milk with pork chops and Bush baked beans
And a coffee, bagels and lots of cheese.

Oh and while my belly was hanging out,
Alissa said I had to sprout.
My kitchen then was cleared,
My new food had to be sheared!
And while we all read a book on juice,
We found that we had no excuse,
And we went out and bought produce,
When I got Alissa's guide.

We were singing,
Bye-bye, to the cooked food and pie,
Went hardcore at the raw store,
And got my raw food supply.
And them good ol' boys were eatin' burgers and fries
And singin', "this'll be the day that I die.

Helter skelter in a summer swelter,
Foods leaving their freezer shelter,
The processor pulsing fast.
My juicer making fresh wheatgrass
The juice was poured into a glass,
It's a wheaty greeny sumptuous blast.

Then the lunch time salad was leafy green
While water soaked into some beans.
We all got up to eat,
But we didn't have any meat!
'cause we're vegan and we're loving it,
Our ice creams taste like banana split
Do you recall what made you quit
When you got Alissa's guide?

Oh and there we were all in one place,
Our hunger faded without a trace
With no need now to eat again.
So come on: peel some fruit, peel it quick!
Peel it, juice it, and have a lick
Now put your sorbet in and blend.

Oh, and as I watched the blender go,
I made some quick flax cracker dough.
No foods all cooking well,
To break my hunger spell!
As the teflex piled high into the night
To make some raw gourmet delight
I saw that it would be alright
When I read Alissa's guide.

I found a site that was all RAW
And I read the posts, I read them all,
They gave me things to make today.
I went to the sacred store
Where I'd bought fresh meat months before,
And the man there said the meats all went away.

And in the streets, the children beamed,
The food was mixed, no longer steamed.
But not a word was spoken;
Our ovens all were broken.
The three things left in my pantry stash
Cookies, cake mix, and potato mash
They caught the last toss to the trash,
When I read Alissa's guide.

And they were singing,
Bye-bye, to the cooked food and pie,

I'm trying to get into curriculum development though so I can be more creative and write. Teaching is creative but I only have 5 days to get a lot of info across. :) So I just do it in my free (bored) time.

Some dehydrate forever, at one oh five degrees.

So I called up the store clerk

He said, 'we have cakes, tortes, and fudge balls, that you'll find a treat'
And still that voice is talking from far away,
Get your attention as you enter aisle nine,
Just to hear it say...

The food is all so healing,

And dehydrate, last but not least!

Next thing you know you'll be
Running to get more,
You'll end up selling your pretty house

Hey , I was watching "60 min." the other day and there was a story on a guy who writes custom songs for sick kids in the hospital , he gets info about them like one kid said "I like baseball ,watermelon and pineapple pizza " , so he writes songs about the kid and includes their favorite stuff , you would be GREAT at that!

hmmm ,they're all pretty good , yellow would be too abstract i think ,hmmm I would say either "Clocks" or "The Scientist" ? They seem the most recognizable to people who don't have the albums (for those who don't ,get them , THEY ARE GREAT!)
