Has anyone come up with candies that will hold up in hot weather?

Have you tried a soft date stuffed with pecan halves? It is really fantastic, won't melt and tastes like pecan pie.

Make a thick smoothie of strawberries and dates (for sweetness) and spread on a teflex sheet. Dehydrate 12-24 h until dry (it will be kind of chewy). Cut in stripes or squares. Enjoy!

You could probably use other berries and fruits to.
