Hello everyone.

Well it's time to go raw...again. Not sure how many times this is but thats ok. Fall down 9 times get up 10.

I went veggie 5 years ago after reading an article on factory farming. I didn't even get through the whole article, just went veggie that moment. Tried going raw a few years ago. The longest I've been raw is 40 days. I took Alissa's challenge but the addiction of cooked food is so great. I keep going back & forth and who knows what that is doing to my body. I'm just recovering from being sick. I missed work Thursday & Friday. I know that I feel so much better being raw so here I go again. I signed up for the July challenge. Just bought fruits & veggies for green smoothies and salads. I also bought some chia, bee pollen and wheatgrass.

I know so much more now. This time I will be successful. I'll I have to do is eat a green smoothie everyday to chase the cravings away, always be prepared, have Alissa's book handy and don't let food rule my life. Easy...right? :D

You sound like you are on the right track again which is cool. HOWEVER, I caution the all or nothing attitude. If you eat cooked food just start again the next meal. Before you know it you will be adding in more and more raw and less and less cooked. For some people it takes a transition period of several months so don't beat yourself up. You know the difference of how you feel when you eat SAD vs. RAW. Let that be your motivator. Glad you are still seeking what is best for you.:)

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Thanks for the advice Morn. That is one thing that I need to remember is that just because you ate one cookie doesn't mean you need to eat the whole bag.

I've been transistioning (sp) for about 2 months now. I eat raw all day until I get home from work and then eat a cooked meal. It's no longer working for me. I just feel awful. This of course is a journey with it's ups and downs. I just need to stay focused even in the down days and not have that all or nothing attitude.

Thank you .

how many things in life do we begin and do 'perfectly' from the moment we begin? give yourself a break and remember to make the most of each minute of every day. you have 1440 minutes in your day... let's see how many of them you can make raw. perhaps tomorrow... you'll beat the number you were raw today. (or not)... there is no "one way" to do this...

i hope you find YOUR way!
