I am making myself an herb garden to last over the winter. I will keep in in the kitchen so we can have fresh "green" food. So far I am putting in basil, cutting celery, parsley, chives and oregano. Any other suggestions? I am fairly new at this, so I was hoping that you more experienced "raw fooders" could give me an idea of the herbs you use the most.
Thankyou

Good luck. I grew an herb garden this summer which included basil, dill weed, cilantro and parsley. All you gotta do it pretty much stick some plants in the pots and give them water, set them next to a sunny area if inside or full sun outside. They'll grow like crazy. Mine were easy. Pretty much all I did was water every now and then. My dill is over 2 feet tall and parsley is the curly kind which looks so pretty and green. Basil is the flat leaf kind which is pretty and green but the stupid beetles have found it and now are eating it up. Makes me so mad.
Just try it or plant some seeds in a pot even together. They'll grow and fast too. :)
