Does anyone have experience with this? Can it make raw tofu, or is excessive heat involved? Also, can tofu be made from other beans and nuts, as opposed to soy?
Thanks!

I think it is a high heat process. I've not used it though. :)

You need soymilk to make tofu, and soymilk is definitely cooked. I don't believe you could make a raw soymilk without making yourself sick.

And soy/tofu is very unhealthy anyway (it's a myth/scam that there's anything healthy about soy, it's toxic to humans which is confirmed by dozens of scientific studies).

I've heard of raw, sprouted soybeans being eaten, but I don't know how healthy it is. I imagine you could make milk out of them same way as with nuts.

Dr. Mercola ( www.mercola.com ) has many articles on how dangerous soy products are. He also has a youtube video here where he talks about it:
