I've only ever done the pill detox/cleanse in the past and it never did much for me (not a great change in bm).

I would like to try a short juice detox (would less than a week be enough?).

My concern is that I am pregnant. I have read that it is a lot better to do detox before the baby is born since when you detox while nursing more toxins than normal can be fed to baby via breast milk. With that in mind, where can I get very nutritious recipes for super (and yummy) detox juices?

I don't know where I would even start looking for that info. Help please. :o

personally i would recommend a much more gentle detox for ya.

start with green smoothies. make and consume as many as you desire each and every day of your pregnancy.

eat as many fresh organic veggies and fruit that you can get your hands on.

add more greens to you diet. the more you add, the better. be sure to rotate your greens so you aren't using the same greens for your smoothies and salads each and every time. (mix it up, spinach, kale, collards, romaine etc)

add chia seeds (soaked) to your smoothies along with some hemp or flax oil.

this WILL detox you... and feed your baby at the same time. you can, of course add in freshly made juices as well. ;) cause honestly a short juice feast doesn't detox you all that much. healthy eating daily will though! (and you'll gain less weight while your pregnant)

That's pretty much what I am eating now. I'm just getting tired of having to "chew" my smoothies -- they are really thick. That's why I was looking into juicing. Due to supermarket availability I am eating organic produce: radishes, carrots, strawberries, blueberries, apples, raspberries, mangoes, spinach salad, kale & collard greens into smoothies, adding carrot tops, parsley, etc.
I'm just not feeling all that energetic.
In the mean time, we are tending to our organic veg, herb, and fuirt garden but all plants are in the baby stage so nothing ready to pick yet. At 7000 feet elevation our growing season is very short.

perhaps add 72 oz of juices to your day? lots of green juices.

and water down your smoothies a bit if you want :)

(you are supposed to 'chew' your juice as well)
