Hello all..
This is a new journey for me. This year started for me like all the 50 before. But this January my sister called me and said she wasn't feeling 100% she couldn't put her finger on what was wrong. I advised her to go to the clinic and get checked out. (she was in the Caribbean at the time.) She had MRI's and blood test and they advised her to get to the mainland as soon as she could. Let me fast forward.. She came to the USA and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. (fast forward again) My beloved sister died last month. I am devastated.. I said all that to say while she wasted away I was on the internet trying to find answers. And in all the searching’s I came across RAW food and wheat grass. I am here now. This is a work in progress. I have a dehydrator and a mandolin slicer and a blender and a deep desire to stay healthy. I am making flax seed and fresh basil crackers as I type.
Namaste

Hi Margo,

Sorry to hear about you losing your sister. I lost my sister to cancer too 6 years ago.

Like you, I found out about this way of eating because of her being sick.

I've tried and failed many times but am just starting out again determined to really stick with it this time.

There is so much info on this site so just keep reading and good luck!
