I can't remember what I read somewhere on here that some tops of a veggie could make you sick. I think it was a rare carrot or something.
I scored a used champion for $80 on craigslist and i am juicing everything i can get my hands on, can i do the tops of the beets?
Also, anything I should NOT juice?
*attempting an extended feast.
thanks!

Absolutely! And, what's good about beet tops is, at farmers' markets, they'll tear them off for people to throw away so will probably give them to you for free!

Love them, have juiced them 25 years, hasn't hurt me yet. Send them to me if you don't want them!

is there anything you should not juice... well common sense lots of things LOL but honestly, if you can get juice from it.... and it tastes good, you are probably okay.
bananas don't juice they blend - not good for a juice feast/fast
can't think of anything else really. all the best on your fast!!!

Rubarb leaves are actually toxic. Isn't that strange since we can eat the stems? I don't think I would like raw rubard any way. :p I have seen some warnings about not using too much parsely, onion and garlic because they are so strong.
