I so need something new to eat - something I can chew - as I have been living on mostly smoothies for a few weeks. I need a flavorful cracker recipe and although I have quite a few raw uncook books, I am not sure which recipe, if any, is worth trying. I have already made plain flax crackers (Alissa's). I think something that tastes like "pizza" would be awesome. I am not good at throwing something together. I need something written out with all the measurements listed. Would someone be able to help me out here, please? It would be so much appreciated.:)

Add some garlic, sundried tomatoes, a couple of chopped tomatoes, a carrot or two, one red pepper and then some rosemary, oregano and thyme. That is how I made mine. Ohh and I used some sprouted sunflower and sprouted quinoa.

RawDrop - this sounds so good, but do you mean that I should add this to the basic flax cracker recipe?

Yeah, sorry!
Basically, use the flax as the base, and then add ingredients to make it taste like whatever you want...
You can also use chia seeds in place of the flax. I can't have flax due to its estrogenic properties, so I use chia seeds now.
You want something more Indian in flare, use some coridaner, tumeric, paprika and chili.
Want something more mexican, use chili, cumin, coridaner seeds and cilantro.
Use asian spices and maybe some sesame seeds for something more asian.
Want something sweeter?? Use some dates, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.
Experiment and have fun!
One of the things that I have learned about raw is that it enables you to be more creative in the kitchen.

Veganforlife - this is just what I wanted and I am so grateful. I felt a bit badly about not doing much of a search for this sort of thing, but it takes so much time (which I just haven't got). And I am very glad now that I asked for the help. Looks like I will have something very yummy to eat.

RawDrop - this is much clearer now and I thank you so much for taking the time to offer these suggestions. Have a great day!

Once I made Alissa's pizza crust recipe (the medium one), and it was so good I couldn't bear to make the rest of the pizza in case I didn't like it... so I used it for crackers instead - my favorite recipe for crackers yet. :)

Jeannine - that is so good to know. Thank you very much. I'll be sure to mark my book and give it a try.
