Excellent and well done; I am sure you will have great success. My sons preschool teacher (North Bend) went raw after seeing what I always sent in his lunchbox and now gives all the kids raw meals too!
Wishing you all the best!
Cheers,

AWESOME
Go for it. Love your site.
At first I thought you were a teen just starting out, which would have been cool to, then to read your "about us" section, NICE!!!

That is good idea. Are you planning to find something related to kids? For example toys or playground item?

...or basic nutrition & food prep classes for the kids, too? That'd be fun!
I love the site! Too bad more of the cherries & oranges don't show once the page pops up!
Maybe just starting a raw potluck in your home meeting to talk with other like-minded folks would open some doors...as well as educate those who come along!
Hope it all goes wonderfully for you, :D

Thanks for the replies everyone.
I am still playing with the site's template. It's just one of those freebee ones. There was a better template where the fruit came up but it was harder to read the words.
I might be able to work something out with my current boss to let me work off hours and be able to stay home with my son this summer. So having the childcare probably won't happen any time soon if that happens.
So, if I get that time with him we will be giving Raw kids classes this summer. I need to empower him more. He helps me with making the food. He is always educating people about what foods are healthy and why.
One day we watched a video on You Tube about a boy who was making his own raw treat. My son's eyes just lit up. To see another kid who eats like him was so cool. He said he wanted to do that. He wants to show other kids how easy and fun and tasty raw food can be. I think he also just wants some kids around who are doing the same thing he is doing. He is such an outcast at lunch. But this year was a bit better. I started sending him to school with cheesecakes, watermelon slices, cherries, and energy bars. The kids were actually telling him that his food looked so good. His first year of raw at school I was not as creative and didn't know alot of recipes yet.
So anyways, we are really excited to have the chance this summer to teach people about raw. We were thinking about a lunch get together for stay home moms during the day to come over with their kids and learn food prep together.
When the Child Care center opens we will have developmental toys and also teach social skills, which I think alot of Child Care centers lack. Kids need to know how to get along before they can really learn anything else.
As far as the ice cream recipe. It's just a simple one. I don't have exact measurements. Soaked cashews (about 2 cups) Fill the rest of the pitcher up with water. Add honey or agave to make it as sweet as you want. 1 tsp of sea salt..and blend it all up in the blender. I have been adding orange juice lately and thats pretty tasty too. Add what ever flavor you want...strawberries, peaches, or cacao powder. Then we just throw it in the ice cream maker. The ice cream maker we have now is one of those that you chill the bowl in the freezer..so I chill the mixture first before pouring it in the maker or else it takes forever. Another way to do it without the ice cream maker is to pour it in a bowl and freeze it. Then pop it out when frozen and cut into squares and process in the food processor.
My son's newest favorite food is Kim Chee. I can't believe it. And it's the spicy kind too.
Thanks alot for all your feedback. It really helps me.

I wish I leaved in Renton, WA, I would definitely want my child to attend your day care but I live in CA, too far. It's so great that you are opening the raw day care. Good luck and hope that enough children sign up so you can open it soon.
