Hello again everyone!
I just want to thank Alissa and everyone on this board.
I've been raw for 3 weeks and I feel AMAZING. More energy than I've ever had in my life. I only sleep 6 hours a night. I run around at work like a child. People all around are saying how good I look and how happy I seem. I'm 33 and I feel like I'm just starting my life. I will never go back to cooked food.
Last Saturday I tried some cooked food for the first time since I started. I think I did this just to prove to myself cooked would make me feel bad. Well, I felt terrible. All I could do was sit on the couch and veg ;) out. I also felt sick to my stomach. This was the proof I needed to stick with this lifestyle.
I've lost probably 10-15 lbs. And my skin is really looking good. My face is getting thinner. I feel great.
Anyone considering this must try it. It will change your life!
Thanks again everyone!
Brian

That's so great, Brian!! :D Thanks so much for posting this ... it's truly an inspiration! I'm still struggling a bit ... especially with the evil sugar demon! :( I truly can't wait 'til I beat that one!!
But it's so great to hear everyone's success ... helps me to keep the faith! :)

WOO HOO Brian!! Isn't this a great lifestyle. I personally can't believe I am about to finish 4 months. I NEVER stayed on a SAD diet that long. I have lost 23 lbs now and I'm feeling amazing! People are now starting to see by my example what a great way to LIVE this is.
Keep up the great work!
Love,
Angie

Congrats to you Brian (and you too Angela)! You're doing wonderfully and I'm so happy that you are having noticable results to keep you motivated! That's always a plus.
Carolyn, you are doing great - keep it up and watch that sugar demon get exorcised! :D
Seriously though, the longer you eat fruit (fresh, dried, in desserts, smoothies) you'll notice that your sugar cravings will leave. Also add in more greens. I rarely ever crave sugar anymore but I sure used to!

Congratulations, Brian. Amazing that you can get such results in such a short time, isn't it? I can't wait to read your progress reports as you continue on this wonder-full path.
Carolyn, I can really empathize with those cravings. I finally conqured mine by using Alissa's fudge balls, the banana pecan ice cream (with lots of variations), caramel-coconut cookies, and more. I just had to have as many raw sweet goodies in the house (and with me wherever I went) as possible.
Angela -- that's a new picture, right? It's gorgeous!!
Again -- great living, Brian.

Doesn't it feel GREAT! It reminds me that I'm not the only one in the world going raw.
