Before / After

Not 100% raw...

The "Before" is 1 yr and a half ago - sorry on the pic I wrote 22 yrs old, i was really 21 and 11 months :rolleyes:

After is Yesterday.

I think it speaks for itself.
*Edited to clarify: I didn't get into weight loss until august 2007 - the date in my signature. This is when I started eating "rawer" and started really losing. I just chose that before picture because it was really me at my worst.

Wow, Forager! What an amazing difference. Not only have you lost weight, but you look so much happier and freer. Keep going at your own pace and you will always be in the right place at the right time :) .

What continues to be so cool to see when people post the before and afters is the glorious peaceful healthy faces ! You look so content and lovely ! And - you were NOT fat before but wow what a raw tribute you are !

I went into this very gradually. I've been Veg for over 3 years, didn't drink smoke or do drugs, didn't drink coffee or soda, etc... So I was already pretty 'clean', therefore the transformation hasn't been as pronounced as others. BUT what I have noticed:

I feel so much more at peace with myself. There are still lingering issues like anxiety and depression but at least I don't cry every day anymore :P
My mind is a lot clearer and I can deal with life more.
I feel closer to God, closer to everything.
Momma Nature and I had a great relationship but now its even better.
I just feel so more more connected and 'present' - don't quite know how to explain it. There's an even stronger bond with my cats too. Sometimes I'll just look at them and start crying with joy.

Yup - joy. There is joy in my life now.

Hey, I totally know what you mean about crying with joy. I do the same thing with my cats. It's silly and wonderful and amazing all at once.

I have what I call 'micro-moments' of feeling totally blissful and connected. It's an amazing feeling! Only got that feeling a handful of times before in my life and it was ALWAYS during meditation, and not very often. Now it's simply by being RAW. I'm all Raw, and I didn't feel this way until I went all the way, yet I can understand that someone with a 'cleaner' lifestyle would do this with some raw.
