Key word searches -Any way to narrow it?

I do quite a bit of searches and was wondering if there was a way to narrow down the searches to at least a specific page. Sometimes the key word will be in a thread and yet there may be upwards of 30 or more pages to the thread!

I'm sure this has already been asked, but I couldn't find it...LOL (hence my problem).:D

(P.S. I know about advanced searches, but it can only narrow so far...and a lot of times the key word isn't in the title or a specific date, etc.)

Did you notice the option that lets you choose show results as "threads" or "posts"?
I find that choosing the "posts" option yields more specific results.
It's down in the lower left area.
