Increased Sex Drive?

Hi all,

I have a couple of questions for you. Viewing the boards here I learned about a website called freedomyou. Which I love, and I'm very interested in starting a juice fast. And looking at some of the receipes on this website I see one called Fantastic Fertility. And I'm really wanted to try this, but then I got scared thing that this would increase my chance of getting pregnant.

So do you think this juice is to help people become pregnant. Or do you think it will help increase the sex drive.

Is there a combination of fruits and veggies that will help increase the sex drive. I hope that it is ok if I asked this question. I'm just really curious about that and I need some help.

Well, all I know is that personally I have a huge increase in sex drive when I juice fast, no matter what kind of juice it is.;)

So you're looking to increase sex drive but NOT increase your chance of getting pregnant? Usually the two go hand in hand (the foods/nutrients that increase sex drive are also likely to increase your fertility)... so if you're trying NOT to get pregnant, I would read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility so you can learn how to avoid pregnancy naturally without ingesting artificial hormones etc.

Foods that are high in zinc tend to increase sex drive (such as raw pumpkin seeds), and maca is famous for increasing libido as well. (Tried both of them and they worked... I am also newly pregnant! but, we have been trying for several years to conceive so for us that is a very good thing! :D)

Although this isn't a food, exercise tends to increase sex drive in many people as well.

If a change in your diet increases your sex drive, then it's logical to assume that it has also made your body more ready/able to get pregnant. Otherwise, why would your sex drive increase? If your body is really healthy, ie., primed to get pregnant, then it will certainly make you want sex more. The number one goal of the body is to pass on its genes.
