Hi to everyone! I'm acjazz28 (i.e. Ambree) and I'm a raw enthusiast of sorts. I transitioned to vegetarianism last summer and I've lost tons of weight as a result...now I'm getting into juicing/green smoothies and raw foods and am having a blast learning about them. My family is benefiting from the raw juices I've been making and I can't wait to learn more about raw food recipes and tips...

Also want to say a special 'hello' to Rawkinlocs, a great lady I know from way back from a Hair Site I used to frequent :D It's nice to see a familiar face!

Have a great day everyone!

Wow guys! Thanks for such a warm welcome! :D

I've being working on raw food recipes lately...so far I'm in juice-and-smoothie mode and I've made the raw donuthole/truffles/LaraBars with dates and almonds. My last try was making a 'hi-raw' caramel apple cheesecake using a recipe I found on goneraw.com using cashews. It never made it to its destination (my Mom's for Memorial Day)...we ended up eating it ALL. The pictures I took were on the day I made the cheesecake and it was already halfway gone! :)

Check out the photos section of my page on Myspace to see my 'hi-raw' caramel apple cheesecake...

p.s. - I saw the thread for posting pics and recipes, but since this isn't 100% raw, I guess it may not be appropriate...but it was still yummy anyway!
