I have been reading and researching all that I can on raw foods for a while now. I started to eat raw for about 1 month now, I have been eating some of the "transition foods." It's really time for me to get serious about my health and weight.

I have quite a bit of weight to lose. One of my concerns about eating raw is getting quick and easy recipes. I have been spending about $40-$60 per week and I'm not working, so this is really expensive for me right now, but I know the benefits.

I have tried some receipes from this site and other sites and its great and tasty. The green smoothies work to stop or keep the cravings away. I love dates they are my favorite dessert.

You said you were looking for quick and simple recipes. Here's what I just had for lunch and it was quick, simple, inexpensive and delicious.

corn - cut and scraped one ear of corn into a bowl
grape tomatoes - cut into very small pieces - maybe 10 of them
scallion - one of these, some people call them green onions
salt - enough to season

This was delicious....hope you enjoy RFT.....WELCOME!!!
