I have 2 pugs and a few weeks ago switched them over to a mostly raw diet.... the female loves veggies and eats tons of um.... but the male isn't very fond of most blended veggies (I have to blend um with egg or lentils to get the munchkin to eat um)
Are there certain veggies that your picky eaters like... he does like tomatoes and sugar snap peas....
Also- how many veggies do you think a dog needs in a day?
They're both 17lbs (and very very active) and eat ~1/2 to 1 turkey neck a day, eggs many times a week, and occasional cooked beans....

Hi. My boys kinda go back and forth with certain blends. If you think you'd drink it, they most likely will as well. They love bananas and that helps all smoothies seem more palatable. They're picky about beets. I don't blame them. Typically, for the plant part of their diet its a blender full of very very ripe fruit and carrot/beet leaves to the very top (vitamix) and then water to the very top. Carrots seem to make things more palatable too. There is nothing wrong with feeding eggs twice a week or so. About 20% of their weekly intake should be veggies (since you're not going the vegan route). So they get about a smoothie bowl (sometimes mixed with ground meat, works great!) 4 times a week (feeding twice a day). Sometimes, I'll half the usual amount I'd give them and feed that with meat about 5 times a week.

Hope thats helpful.
