I've tried the crystal stick and Alba's Tea Tree Oil stick. Still nothing seems to compare to my Dove Ultimate Clear, but I really don't like that it's an anti-perspirant. Does anyone know of a miracle toxin-free deodorant for really sweaty people?

Hello,
I really love Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal Spray Mist. I usually purchase it at my local health food store or wholefoods. Its about $3.50, but it goes on sell often, so I pay about $2.99 for it. It works really well for me. I tried several natural deodorant and none of them worked for me, until I tried this one and I love it.

Soon you probably will not have the need for it. I don't have to use it anymore. I am constantly checking and I smell RAWool......

raene, do you dilute the apple cider vinegar? I can't use it straight. It stings.

But what about the ACV smell? Isn't it overpowering?

On days when I think I'll need it, I use Tom's deodorant. Most of the time baking soda works. Or lemon. Or apple cider vinegar. It doesn't smell after you apply it, only if you spill some on your clothes!

I was also in love with the Dove Ultimate Clear (cucumber scent) but then I started using Crystal roll on. It's not the solid rock that you have to get wet, it's just a roll on.

I tried the solid rock and also the spray but they did not work for me as well as this one did. Even regular stuff didn't work for me at times but the roll on has worked pretty good so far even with 100 degree and 100% Texas heat and humidity.
My step dad was stationed in Iraq and couldn't bring deodorant with him when he went and he said that all he could use was rubbing alcohol which I've found to work pretty good but not as well as the roll on salt.
Oh yeah and the spray that didn't work for me was the naturally fresh one.

Anti-perspirants ar so bad. Please don't use them. They go against the whole point of detoxing. They stop you from releasing toxins through your sweat. Do you really want those toxins hanging out in your arm pits by your breasts mixed with all the chemicals in the anti-perspirant?
It just scares me to think about it. Considering also that anti-perspirants are considered to be a possible cause of breast cancer.
There is no natural anti-perspirant. If you still smell bad when you sweat, you have some detoxing to do.
If you use baking soda, mix it with cornstrarch (organic of course) which will help with soaking up the sweat.
Another thing to try is coconut oil. I often put it on my arm pits if I don't have time to shower. If there is any smell at all and it get rid of it. Some peopel say they have applied it and gone running and their no smell after.
I use the salt stick and never have any problems. It works great. I notice that some brands work better than others. I use the thai one.
There are also natural spray deordants you can buy - check out some herbal sites. Burts Bees sells a natural one.
Most powdery stick solid deordants have some sort of chemicals in them.
Plus, keep in mind that the more you use chemicals (and in you) on you - the more you keep having them be absorbed into the skin. Meaning, you will keep detoxing them out and thereby, keep smelling. Unless you stop using them you may never get to the point where the smell non -existant.

I've used baking soda for 8 years. I don't use it everyday, just when I work a lot. I keep it in a container and just pat in on after showering. I am also using a product called Ipsab for my teeth which is just baking soda, salt, prickly ash bark, and peppermint oil.

I use this Zinc deoderant, and it works pretty well... The only ingredients are food grade zinc and water.

Here's my experience: I tried several times, back in the day of SAD eating, and the crystal deodorant NEVER worked for me. After several wks on raw, I tried the crystal and it worked!!! I've used it since. Then, last wk, I fell off the wagon several times, going out to dinner and such, and yesterday, OMG, lucky I work in a hospital where I could have easy access immediately to soap, water, washcloths and regular deodorant!!! I wasn't even doing anything to make me sweat! I can only conclude that processed foods and toxins building up in my system caused this!! Don't worry, I'm back on the road to recovery.

Baking Soda all the way!!! Cheapest ever!
Also, I have just tried Uncle Harrys toothpaste in the jar. It was so grosse tasting at first..but it is amazing how clean my teeth feel. My husband was about to throw it out and he noticed the same thing. It was worth the bad taste. And now the taste doesn't even bother me.
Then I was like..I gotta try their shampoo because I can't seem to find something that works. My hair is always so itchy and falls out alot. Uncle Harrys shampoo is the best! Combined with filtered water. My hair is growing back and it's going back to blond. It was always blond and for the last 10 years it has turned brown. Now I am wondering if the rust and crap in the water was changing my hair color.
Anyways..that's my 2 cents.

I have used clay powder, which is a bit messy going on, but works really well. I like to use it sometimes as it draws out impurities in the skin while healing it at the same time. We used this on baby's bottoms and were amazed at how quickly it healed rashes and stuff. If figured if it does that for baby's bottoms, what will it do for the underarm? I was pleased with the results.
I have also used my toothpaste, which has baking soda and essential oils in it. That works terrificly well. Sometimes it does sting, but I figure it is killing some bacteria or some such thing and wait till it passes - thankfully the stining doesn't happen all the time.
