Hi all just wanted to share my fave salad recipe ever!! well it's not really a recipe because it's so embarrasingly easly lol:p All you need is some lettuce (my fave is romaine) one diced large orange, a few splashes balsamic vinegar(depending on how much you like) a bit of olive oil and a pinch of pepper and some sea salt or herbamare seasoning...toss it all together and happy munching!!:)

I like simple. I will try that.

I'm challenged when it comes to knowing about vinegars.

Had to look up balsamic vinegar. I see a really aged bottle can go for almost $2,000 dollars HERE (http://www.amazon.com/Balsamic-Vinegar-Modena-Extravecchio-Gold/dp/B000LR7VNQ/ref=pd_bbs_12?ie=UTF8&s=gourmet-food&qid=1213399457&sr=8-12). Curioulsy, there are no reviews for that.

I'll try something a wee bit cheaper.

Try to find some organic balsamic vinegar, to avoid sulfites.

Hi Steve, wow that's just a tad overpriced I'd say:D

I get mine from the health food store for about $10, pretty much every supermarket sells it though. I prefer balsamic vinegar esp with oranges...the contrast of the tartness with the sweetness of oranges is really tasty:)
