Does anyone have a recipe management software that you really like or know of one that you would recommend?
I'd like to purchase a software that I can enter a bunch of recipes into it, so when I have an overabundant supply of a certain produce from the garden I can enter that item (i.e. zucchini) and find what recipes use it.
Any suggestions on a software?
Thanks!

I am no expert, but perhaps a basic database program would suffice? I expect many such programs are freely available (freeware). Just run a search.

Rinda,
I will see what I can dig out of what recipes I have. I have collected some from all over the web and I have sectioned them off into different categories to make it easier for me to find what I need.
I get them to you as soon as I can.
Why not just use MS Word? I copy/paste recipes I like in there, then use the search to find a recipe or ingredient I like (Edit/Find -- then you type in the ingr or recipe name, can go through to see each recipe).
It's so easy to make a table of contents and stuff too so that the page numbers format themselves. If you're not sure how to do this, you can google "making table of contents in MS Word"...
Just an idea. I like having solutions under my fingers when possible. :)

As someone who loves organization but currently has recipes on index cards scattered around on my shelf, I think http://www.livingcookbook.com/ looks really great. Thanks for the motivation.

Accuchef recipe software. The best part about it is the search & filter function. You type in ingredient(s) and it filters the recipes that contain them! It is easy to look at one recipe at a time too. I was using Excel for a while, but this is way better.

Fantastic!!
Thank you for your suggestions!! Looks like the thelivingcookbook or accuchef is just what I'm looking for!
Now, to figure out the differences and pick one. I'm excited to get started with one of them! :D
