Does anyone have a rye bread recipe or a bagel recipe using rye berries.
I can't afford to waste them so i really need help quick.

Do you have Alissa's book? I think her bagel recipe is rye

Alissa posted her rye bagel recipe a long time ago here: http://rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?p=57&highlight=rye+bagels#post57

A tip...making the bagels and getting them to turn out just right can be tricky...so what I do is spread the dough thin (not cracker thin, but bread thin) onto the dehydrator sheet and after about 6-8 hours, when it's time to turn it over, then I score into squares like slices of bread (or you can make rye crisps/crackers) after turning it over and then dry the rest of the way.

SUPER good with Alissa's onion dip spread on OR... (one of my personal favorites I learned when I went to Alissa's training) almond butter (I know, I know) and drizzled with agave nectar. Weird-sounding combination, I know, but it's yummy!

When I used to make this in class, no one who tried it ever disliked it.

Man oh man! I love that recipe of Alissa's. Have not done the crackers yet (thnx Rawkinlocs), but will give that a whirl!

Another note - my Dad used to have every Sunday morning rye bread w/peanut butter so I'm bettin' that almond butter, agave and the rye oh man. I'm drooling now baby!!!

Just be sure to:

1. Keep them in the fridge if they're already sprouted

2. Rinse at least twice daily until you get sunflower seeds
