Good to hear! I'm starting an organic, hand-dyed natural clothing business in the fall, and I'm going to be washing a lot of clothes :) .

I have used the soap nuts before but I used them to clean my hair not my clothes. They seemed to work good the first couple times I tried them but after awhile they sort of lost their strength (for my hair anyhow).

I still have some that I should probably use in my laundry - I forgot about them. I usually use those laundry capsules that require no detergent. You might want to consider those - they are supposed to last up to 700 loads. They use the water to clean the clothes - you just pop them in and that is it. And they are reusable of course.

Your clothing line sounds so interesting - I will definatley be interested in getting a shirt or two! I love those clay dyed shirts by Earth Creations. :) It is nice to see someone else doing something similar.

they didn't seem to work when I did my laundry with them. I think the directions called for 4 nuts, but I only had 3. So maybe that is why... but it didn't work at all... dirty dirty dirty... But if you guys have had good luck with them, maybe I'll try them again.

You should check out her website that she has started. It is pretty interesting. Using natural occuring dyes, instead of chemical dyes. It is a good idea.

They work well on my darks, but they made the whites sort of dingey. I love how soft clothes feel after using them.
