I'm experimenting with different types of dips, etc. and made some sunflower seed 'cheese' yesterday. I've actually made it a few different times and can't seem to get it to be tasty.

Here's what I made:

SF seeds
a few walnuts too
celery
a bit of water
lime juice
fresh basil
pinch of sea salt
garlic

FP'd it all and didn't like the taste, so added some chili to spice it up a bit. STILL didn't like it, so I took a small amount and added some cumin (trying to give it 'that' mexican flavor), but I still don't care for it.

Any ideas?

I see a lot of dip/pate/seed cheese recipes out there, and not many of them look appealing to me. Perhaps someone could also suggest one of their favorite recipes? I love dipping veggies and (now that I have a dehydrator) flax crackers.

Thanks!

Okay ...forget it. I'm dumping it. :p

I just made Morn's Rich Cheese Sauce and it's awesome! Live and learn...
