hi have the chance of getting a Vitamix Touch & Go 2 Smoothie Blender at a good price off someone just wondered if l can use it for the soups and icecream or is it just for smoothies? I am in the uk so the main model available for home use is the 5000 will it do the same thing?

Yes you can use it for Soups and Ice Cream. It will even warm your Soup for you by leaving in a little longer. I think the 5000 is the Top of the Line. Of course when you make your Ice Cream you should use Frozen Fruit.

It doesn't look like the ice cream an ice cream maker would make, but it tastes very good. I make my version of ice cream in my VM all the time. :)
