:D
I've read that it's advisable to rebound without wearing a bra as it enables free movement and aids the lymphatic system.

I was wondering however... would rebounding without a bra also help to firm up the breasts/make them perkier/reduce sagging... you get the idea :)

I know there is some belief that bras weaken the breast muscle... I am kinda clueless on this but I'd love to hear some input if anyone has any? Can rebounding help with sagging breasts?

A lot of this would depend on the size of your breasts. Mine are fairly large. I wear two sports bras when I rebound. The rest of the time I go braless. My breasts are beautiful... even better than when I was younger.

I have somewhat small breasts (B cup), but I have to wear a sports bra or the boing boing is actually painful.

Same here. My 'girls' hurt if I don't tie 'em down. But other then that, I don't need no stinkin' bra!!!

I wear a sports bra or a regular and a sports bra over..I have a 30HH..so only time I go without is when I crawl into bed!

I liked my girls way better before raw to be honest...I've settled with the thought that it was a necessary tradeoff. I some sort of "B" and I still wear a sports bra when I attempt to jog or do strenuous stuff because the girls move a bit more now than before raw...

I don't think rebounding will help sagging breasts...you're not exercising the surrounding muscle tissue by doing so. What would help would be push-ups and bench pressing--exercises which work the pectoral (chest) muscles and encourage breast firmness.

I was reading this article on the science behind sports bras and it mentioned that if you let your "girls" bounce around freely while working out, the muscle tissue can tear and cause sagging to become worse. Who knows what's true, but I can attest that my D's need support when jumping around, especially in public at the gym!

I'm a D and wouldn't even entertain the idea of rebounding without a bra!

Yeah, I'm also a D cup and I have to say that I would not rebound without a sports bra, for personal comfort.
If it doesn't feel good, I just don't do it! No matter what people say :) .

hahaha, this is the best thread ever! Mine are 42DD and I won't dream of exercising without a forklift! I wear my bra until it's time for bed or else, no body but my husband would talk to me. ( I'm crackin' up typing this!!!) Although, my girls were a 36C up until my pregnancy, after the baby I was a 48DD until nursing stopped. Then they just deflated to my current size. I'm hoping with my weight loss they'll see 36C one more time! (...my husband screams in horror!!!):D

I was told in a CNA class by the nurse teaching it that women are being studied who wear underwire/support bras have had more breast cancer because of the way that the bras are pushing so much all day long on the lymph nodes on the sides of the breast it cuts off the blood supply etc. so it causes more incidences of cancer in women. That it is recommended that women wear sports bras that don't have the underwires that push on the lymph nodes.

Yeah, I NEVER wear regular bras. Only sports bras. I wear 2 when rebounding. I'm a D, which after reading this thread makes me feel SMALL....LOL... whew... totally cracking up with some of the posts! So dang funny - AND true!

I tell ya... I don't run UP and DOWN the stairs without a sports bra. If I do, I hold onto 'em!:D

Looking forward to my 'C' days again.

well ladies... my little A cups don't need anything to hold them in place when i rebound. as a matter of fact... they seldom move anywhere anytime LOL

unless i'm laying down... then they hide in my arm pits LOL

I don't run up and down stairs, I use them for doing pushups on the way up and walk down them genteely.
