Oh, I'm sure quite a few of you have tossed wheatgrass into a smoothie. Just like kale, collards, and other "strong" green veggies, right?

Well, that's what I'm trying to find out.

Any downside to using wheatgrass in my Vitamix green smoothies? I don't have any handy to experiment with, or I'd try it and post the results here.

I'm trying to find out if this is a viable idea, in which case, I don't need to buy a wheatgrass juicer at this point in my raw lifestyle.

Saving money is a good thing!

So, any feedback you can post will be well appreciated!!

Thanks in advance, everyone!

Hi,

two things, both from Victoria Boutenko.

In 2001, when I took a raw food class with her, she talked about making wheat grass juice in the Vita Mix, you add wheatgrass, lemon with the peel and water, then you strain through a nut milk bag, and drink the juice, the lemon makes it less bitter.

Now in 2005, she talks about her green smoothins all the time, you can go to www.rawfamily.com and see what she uses in them.

Hope this helps.
