Nut Free First Bday Cake a Success!

I can't find the original post where I got the inspiration for this cake. I found the recipe from a nut free cake post search and emailed the OP for the recipe. The inspiration was a neopolitan banana cake. I turned into a blueberry cake bc is son's favorite! My 1 y.o. is allergic to coconut and I have not tried introducing nuts yet b/c of this. So, here is my first go at a nut free birthday cake for him! Its blueberries & bananas blended together, frozen in a spring form pan and decorated with blended/frozen banana star cutouts. My family called it "smoothie cake" My son had a great time eating it with his little hands and smearing it all over :)

Thanks for the inspiration... my ds will be 1 next month and I was looking for something to give him that he'll love and have fun with. He loves banana "ice cream" never thought to make a cake out of it :)
