Has anyone trried juicing flower petals to make their own safe, alcohol free perfume? We have these wonderfully aromatic peonies and since my juicer can juice spinach I thought, just maybe. . . . . . . . .

The juice from the flowers won't smell like the flowers, and it won't last long. To make your own perfume, you'd have to soak the flower petals in alcohol for a long time. And that wouldn't be alcohol free, obviously.

Why not just use essential oils? I like rose geranium essential oil. It's very flowery.

What about just waring a flower in your hair or lapel. I don't know about making perfume. RAWStrength sounds like she know what she is talking about. Sometimes we have to just enjoy the Season of the Fruit and wait on its return the next Season. Have a RAW Day.........

I tried making perfume years ago. I think I dried the flowers and then soaked them in a mixture of alcohol and oil. The end results were far less than pleasing. I used lilacs.
