My boys are doing great raw. Max, the lab/rot mix, has been raw for 8 months. He's increased in energy and his coat is gorgeous and he scratches a lot less. About month 3 we tried a grain-free dry dog food, Evo, and he didn't want to touch it. We added his green smoothie to it and he lapped up the smoothie and picked at the dry food. It was funny. We also noticed that he drank a lot more water when he ate the dry food and his poo looked more painful to push out. So after that bag was done (which was ALWAYS mixed with green smoothie) we didn't get any more. We also noticed with him that he'd itch, a lot. It was sad. And when the dry food was out of his diet, the itching wasn't really noticeable. Then we moved, his diet was the same but the itching came back. We thought that maybe it was the new place and he was just adjusting to something or was allergic to the fields or something until we learned that our neighbor was feeding him dry food while we were gone. We asked him to stop and shortly after the itching stopped as well. His energy is almost annoying.

Koda, Alaskan Malamute/wolf/german shepherd mix, we've only had about a month now. He is doing great on it too. The only thing is, he was low in weight when we got him and he isn't really gaining anything (which I think is fine because he's only 10 months old, is still growing, his breed is supposed to be on the light side, and its just how he's built).

Their diet (not vegan but 100% raw):
Marrow bones
Knuckle bones
green smoothies
beet greens
carrot greens
spinach
any green that I don't want to eat in a salad
really really ripe fruit I don't want to eat
coconut oil
Olive oil
eggs (sometimes the shell too ground down really really well to a powder)
ground meat
meat scraps
chicken backs

Most the meat is from local producers (so while their diet isn't vegan we try to support sustainable farming in all aspects to help protect the earth and the health of all consuming).

Their poo is of GREAT consistency. Its a great lil game, if its too hard, then we add more veggies, too soft, more meat. Always in variety. Most smoothies made fresh everyday. I love my furkids.

KUDOS to you! You're doing your animals a great service. My kittens eat all raw meat and are in amazing shape. they make all sorts of satiated and happy noises while they eat. The vet was like, WOW and WHOA, their teeth are to die for....I don't have to be worried about vet visits for teeth cleanings. I'm going to get an animal reading though to make sure the raw feeding/types of animals parts are best for them. It's a pain cutting up meat being a vegetarian myself, but if it's most beneficial for them....*shrugs shoulders. They won't be getting any vaccinations either.

Very good looking pups too!

That is great!! Your pups are GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!! I need to transition my beautiful Black Standard Poodle to an all-raw diet. When I've done it in the past, she has totally thrived. I don't know what I'm waiting for!! Thanks for listing what all you are feeding them!
