What is the precise recipe for the MC Lemonade? How much Cayenne pepper? How many lemons? How much maple syrup? Also, can the mixture be made in large quantities in advance and refrigerated for a few days? Finally, is it recommended that the lemonade be consumed at a particular temperature, or does anything go? Thanks.

the recipe is:

2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed, refrigerated or room temp.)
2 tablespoons genuine maple syrup (grade B or C)
1/10 teaspoon cayenne pepper
water, any temperature, spring or purified.

I usually make one big bottle for the whole day if I won't be home. It is best to consume it that day, it doesn't taste too great if it's a few days old.

Some people vary the maple syrup, but it's best to stick to the recommended amount of lemon juice.

hope this helps

How many ounces of the lemonade should I make for a day's intake? Thanks.

here's a video (http://youtube.com/watch?v=QE-tLJy5Qcw) by some guy to help walk you through the recipe.

i make 1 day's worth --- never more -- because the drink can get bitter. i like extra cayenne, but that's just me.

Is there a recommended length of time to do this? Also, is that all you consume during the cleanse?

Hi!

That recipe is used in 8 oz water. You are to have 6-12 of these drinks each day, plus however much fresh *unfloridated* water as you want. You may also have 1-2 cups of peppermint tea. It's recommended that you don't make it too far in advance b/c the lemons lose their potency. Also, if you add the cayenne just before you drink it, it's much less spicy. It gets more intense in heat if you leave it in all day. Yeeeouch! :)

There is also a salt water flush in the AM - before food. 2 tsp grey celtic sea salt in 32 oz water.

Then 8 oz of laxative tea last thing before bed. I like smooth move.

I just started my 1st MC, so I'm fresh off reading the book. I have all information and no personal story to back it up... YET! Anyone else on MC? I'm going for 10 days.

I've done two MCs--one 16 day and one 21 day. I love them! (actually starting number 3 soon.)

One tip: I personally despise the taste of the cayenne in the lemon drink, as do many people I know. An experienced cleanser told me to take the pepper in a shot of water before drinking a serving of lemonade. It works perfectly, warms you up and makes the lemonade actually taste like lemonade!

Here is my one gallon recipe.

1 gal of water
8 oz of fresh squeezed lemon juice (5-7 lemons depending on size)
8 oz of grade B maple syrup
cayenne pepper to taste

Hey is the SWF required? What would happen if you didn't do that? Thanks:)

I didn't use the SWF with my last MC. I used the Smooth Move Tea. It's not as harsh.

I want to complete a MC as well. If you make a bunch in advance, does it need to stay refrigerated all day?

I'd recommend that you refrigerate it. I've found that it starts tasting "off" if left out.

And I agree with Nurse in the Raw----SWF not absolutely necessary. Except for two attempts at the SWF, I've always just done Smooth Move in the morning. The one difference that I see is that you will be "moving" throughout the day, instead of spending two hours in the bathroom right off.

I did the SWF and its a great cleanse when you go, but its disturbing when you don't go. I was scared when I didn't go after drinking it, where did all that salt go? it didn't leave so I know it stayed in my body.

Get the book as it answers many questions, how to get off safely etc... I don't start something new without doing a lot of research and everyone has there own way of doing something. The book lists all the benefits and you can be sure you are getting correct info.
