Thank you for the welcome.
I am going to go raw starting today.
I would also like to do a cleanse in a few weeks.
A little about me. I am 44 retired divorced with grown children. I just moved to Florida ... packed up and got a one way ticket. I sold my car so now I walk, bus or bike everywhere.
I have a simple lifestyle and raw will fit into it very well. I just need the will power to stay on the path.

Welcome ~ lots of us from Florida here. Love your short bio ! I wish I could delete my car but I did sort of the same thing...packed up and drove as far as I could before I hit water. It's lovely in the sun and having the beautiful Gulf to swim in !
Best of rawness!

hey welcome! If you type in Florida you will find a few threads here packed with info about local markets, raw restaurants, classes etc. What part of Fla are you in? There's some incredible places that can help inspire you to stay raw.I am new to Fla myself and find it nice and natural to be raw in this climate.
Good luck!

I lived in Florida for a little while and found that it is a haven for produce. If you're in the Tampa area, search for street-side vendors -- they have fresh watermelons, cantaloupes, etc. cheaper than any store. I didn't encounter vendors in St. Petersburg and Clearwater, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're there as well.
Where in Florida are you? :)

I live south of Tampa in the Sarasota area. I do love my simple lifestyle. I was talking about giving up my car for years then finally did it when I came here 3 months ago. My rear end loves it. At first I was slow and couldn't go very far now I can ride for miles no problem. I even started jogging for the first time in years. Maybe I will start swimming and do a mini marathon.
My friend works for a local produce farmer/distributor lucky me gets bags of produce from their employees bin. There are a lot of squash and eggplants but I am going to make crackers out of them. Or chips.
I do need to get Alissa's book and everything in her store. It's on my list.
Once I eat whats in my frig I am going to start my fast. I am turning off my phone I want to be in silence as well. lol Do you think typing counts?
I plan on going to the beach every day.
I grow wheatgrass and juice which I love.

While proudly showing off his new apartment to friends, a college student led the way into the den. "What is the big brass gong and hammer for?" one of his friends asked. "That is the talking clock," the man replied. "How's it work?""Watch," the man said and proceeded to give the gong an ear shattering pound with the hammer. Suddenly, someone screamed from the other side of the wall, "Knock it off, you idiot! It's two o'clock in the morning!"----------------------------------Do you look for free wow gold?
