Hi, all! My name is Day, and I'm still a newbie to raw. After going vegan last year (vegetarian for 5 years prior), in January I went raw. Unfortunately in March I succumbed to social pressure and started eating some cooked food again. I'm now back to raw; it feels so great to have clean innards. ;)
I live in a small town near Evansville, Indiana, and desperately wish to join a raw food community. I'm willing to drive to Louisville, Bloomington, St. Louis, or other cities within a reasonable distance to spend time with other raw foodies. Personally I think that would be a great motivator. Right now I don't know any other vegans, let alone raw folks!
So please, if you are somewhat nearby, give me a shout out when you can. I'd love to meet you!
