Hi, me again!!!! I'm gonna not be so specific about just where this cyst is and maybe someone will have some help. Basically it's a sebatious cyst that just happens to be in a difficult place to have it removed that's why it's call brachial cleft cyst...this is the first time it seems to be settling down since the last 4 times it was drained it reappeared pretty fast, like within weeks I could feel it filling up again.

I just want to take anything I can that will help me. Right now I'm taking bentonite clay twice a day and have a colonic scheduled for tomorrow.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Elaine

Put the clay as a pack directly on the cyst. It may draw the stuff out or open it enough for you to do it yourself.

Thanks Revvell, it seems so far below the surface now, do you think a pack would still help??? I'm definitely willing to do so...I wish I'd known when they'd drained it the last time when it still had an opening yet didn't make the effort to reach out...I guess it's such an uncomfortable thing to talk about.

I'm appreciative to be able to talk about such an icky subject and get some feed back.

Thanks, Elaine

I have no idea. It's what I'd do along with warm-to-hot salt baths. Then a clay pack. You want to draw it to the surface.

If anything else comes to me, I'll let you know.

Princess Elaine, I have personally had success with the homeopathic remedy Hepar Sulph. for sebaceous cycts. Good luck. I hope that you feel better.

I've had problems with cysts before and know how painful and frustrating they can be. I've had some removed too, and drained.

Can you sit with a hot cloth on it and a heating pad? This method can take a while depending on how deep it is. One took me almost a week of spending my evenings with the cloth and heating pad on it.

The most beneficial thing for me was visiting a naturopath. They gave me a homeopathic remedy and B12 vitmin injections and this helped the cyst to get broken up inside and carried away. It did not come out. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the homeopathic remedy. Probably something to do with inflammation. And anything you can do to boost your immune system will help immensely. Your body can break these down when it's strong.

Rest, relax, good food, and perhaps some supplements that boost the immune system.

are boils similar to cysts?

I just read that chopped onion as a poultice helps boils. The magazine said:

"Chop enough onion finely to cover boil. Put onion between two pieces of cloth - NOT directly on the skin. Leave on for at least an hour."

I know Wheatgrass poultices work on lots of things. Wheatgrass can go directly on the skin and leave on for an hour max. Then you can take it off for an hour or so, then put a new one on for an hour. The reason you don't leave it on all day is because it will be too drying. I tape the wheatgrass poultice on with bandaids or tape.

Thank you everyone for all the good ideas....I had a colonic today (my first) and was told I was doing the right thing by taking the bentonite internally and I will definitely do the things you all suggested...I'm also gonna see a naturaopath and we'll see what happens.

Thanks again, Elaine
