I have had chronic pain for 20 years now.

I always forget that Magnesium takes care of this if I take it consistently
My pain in my feet had been increasing lately so I started back on Magnesium
supplementing yesterday and this morning I am pain free again. The pain gets so
bad that it is constant and I don't feel like moving.

I have never seen the doctor for my pain because I knew I wouldn't take any
meds they gave me.

I just get so upset with myself for not being consistent about this because it
really makes all the difference. I think I need something to remind me to take it all the time. I always think the pain will remind me but for some reason I don't remember until I am in agony!

Interesting. Is the pain in the bones of your feet? I understand that magnesium aids in the assimilation of calcium and am wondering if there is a connection with your relief?

Magnesium helps to relax the muscles, along with calcium too & aids in the absorption. Glad to here it's working for you!

The pain moves around my body because of fibromyalgia
but the past few months it has mostly been in my left foot in the area
of the big toe. The bone and joint of the big toe and the second toe.
It is somewhat numb and the pain varies in intensity.

I was reading yesterday and by chance found some information
about a trigger point at the end of the hallicus longus (a muscle
in your calf) that can cause pain to refer to this area. SO I am sure
it is from that muscle.

THen I remembered that taking Magnesium definitely gets rid of my
muscle pain and today I am walking fine with only a slight feeling of it.

I just feel like I don't absorb enough no matter what I eat. Raw pumpkin
seeds are one of the highest in Magnesium with 400 mg in a 1/4 cup but
I would have to eat a cup a day I think to get what I need.

I also have chronic constipation even when I have extremely loose bowels.
I know Too MUCH Info but if I take magnesium that helps that too. I think I am just not absorbing anything all that well.

I have tried probiotics, enzymes, etc. Eating Raw definitely helps but I just had to supplement to get through this pain again.

I also put iodine on the soles of my feet and it was gone within 3 hours both feet. So I am going to keep that up too.

Sounds like the symptoms of Gout to me??

I have considered gout but there is no redness or swelling. I think it is definitely related to the fibro and is a referring pain. I can rub my calf and activate the pain in my toe or my hip depending on where I rub it. The magnesium definitely gets rid of it by relaxing my leg muscles.
