Hi, I am new to raw food, just ordered Alissa's book yesterday. I am from the houston area, a stay at home mom with a 9 year old son. My stepdad has terminal cancer and may not make it through the summer. Seeing what he has gone through this year has brought me here. I want to do what is best for my body and as well as my son's and husband's. I am a bit scared to go raw but with this wonderful website and a bit of support I'm sure I can do it.

No need to be scared, it looks like you'll have Alissa's book in a few days and after you read it you'll understand all the in's and out's about going raw and you'll feel at ease. Before you know it you'll be a pro. So sorry to hear about your stepdad's cancer....seeing a loved one suffer is very difficult.

Aloha and Welcome to RFT!!! i AM sooo glad that you have ordered Alissa's book... truly Max -- this was a huge key for me -- to help me on my journey.

I am so sorry about your stepdad.... You are so strong to be holding it all together for your family like you are..... blessings dear Max.... I also think - this is the most wonderful gift that you can give to your son... health... responsibility for your well being... and the lesson that when your family goes thru something like this... that you can take this lesson and use it to be stronger... better.... healthier....

this is a wonderful thing you do not just for yourself but for your entire family....
