Please!!! I'd love some ideas, I've never really made a cracker just out of flax, and I really want to start exploring them...
Thanks!

In the appendix of Trotter & Klein's RAW, there is a recipe called Dragon Crackers. They are my favorite flax cracker.

Erin -- I love to add bell peppers and onions, recently I added celery and onion + garlic powder -- which turned out really well even though I didn't use salt. I was experimenting with that since I had the celery sliced up.

My basic recipe is just 2 cups flax soaked in 2.5 cups water for 4-8 hours. Then I add something else and some amount of salt usually.

If you like the sweet stuff, (and I know you do!) my fave sweet flax cracker is with banana, cinnamon and soaked dates.

Sorry I don't know the quantities. In my experience, I never screw them up so much that they're inedible, so I just play with the fruits, veggies and spices I have around.

Wow, I've never been brave enough to do that. My children do though and they have all turned out to be great cooks. I'm timid - maybe because I'm afraid of what might get wasted.
