I noticed lentils and chickpeas are just carbs and protein which would help balance my diet which has way too much fat. I did make Alissa's chicken fingers with lentils, carrots and a few other things and they are very good. Are there any other similar recipes? Maybe a soup with lentils?

I also don't like the taste of lentils but Alissa's chicken recipe really hides it well, so I'd like recipes that hide a good part of the lentil taste.

Can you recommend recipes with lentils or chickpeas?

Thanks

There's a chili recipe in Rawvolution book that calls for lentils - it's terrific!

Thanks, I'll check that. I think I remember making his Chili but don't remember there being lentils, or was it an optional garnish? I'll check now... yup, it's an optional garnish.

There's also his falafels which have sprouted chickpeas with the mango chutney which are awesome, I'll be making those again for sure.

I just made a double batch of Rawvolution's Falafels! Why do they take 32 hours?!?! My dad as a joke said put them in the deep fryer it'll be done in 5 minutes. They are so good, one of my favorite raw recipes, and I only made it 3-4 times, I tend to do recipes that require sprouting less often but I think I'll be makiing more sprouts since they would help reduce the fat in my diet.

Well I had some just after about 3-4 hours and they were still edible, I couldn't wait. I had them with the mango chutney... soo good, my mom had one and loved it also, everyone that tried these so far loved them.
