Hi,
Could anybody recommend a good blender to me ? I don't mind the price, but I want it to make everyhing, not only blend. I know the Vita Mix is pretty good, are there any better ones?
I have seen on Juliano's website that there is a new Vita Mix-Vita-Mix Touch & Go Blending Station, anybody knows what is the difference, and which one is better?
Thanks

I think vita mix is PRETTY top notch , the touch and go just means that it has a "case " or "holder" station to keep them from moving when lefty alone , I saw them on ebay for 650-900 $
I LOVE my food processor ,it has 4 speeds ,is a TOTAL workhorse ,and was 70 bucks ;),but it cant turn a carrot into juice like others claim the vita mix can :::shrugs:::

I have a Vita Mix, I love it, it truly works wonders. I've have mine for over 10 years, and not one problem, I use it almost every day to make orange juice.
I like my juice with all the good pulp in it.
although my champion does make exceptional carrot juice.
so, if you are really looking for the best blender and price is no object, I'd pick the Vita Mix, well, actually I did. Hum?

I LOVE MY VITAMIX!!!
I swear, it's barely dry in the rack before I'm stuffing something else in it to blend it up!! I decided to go with tha variable speed version (slightly more expensive) and with the 'dry bowl', for several reasons. Not too sure I'll be using the dry bowl all that much, but I am glad that I have the variable speed.
I had a good $80 blender (from Amazon) that I bought when I went raw the first time, it was good, but I didn't know good until I got the vitamix!

I have the VitaMix Super 5000, but will try a K-Tec next time.
Here is one on RawGuru site to show you (though, I, personally, wouldn't purchase from them).
I *think* there may be different versions (meaning, different grades/models)...not sure

Can I ask WHY you would chose the K-Tec over the Vitamix next time? I'm in the market and trying to decide between the two!
Thanks,
