Does anyone know anything about Rosacea and how to cure it? what causes it? I'm having trouble finding good information about it.

I have rosacea...there is a good support group and lots of info at www.rosaceagroup.org
I have seen some improvement lately with my rosacea since being 100% raw for almost 2 months now

The only thing I read about this was when David Icke mentioned his wife's rosacea cleared up after a series of colonics.
Now, I am NOT a fan of colonics, but if you're in favour, it might be worth checking it out?
Hope you find a remedy that works.

This guy isn't raw, but following his thoughts and recommendations on raw would be even simpler than what he's doing. Just tweak it a little.
I have a lot of respect for Burgess. He posts over on the McDougall board, he doesn't follow pure McDougall, but has tweaked that diet to make it alkiline. McDougall isn't raw, and I'm not advocating it. :-)

Self-diagnosed rosacea here. Since going off coffee I had noticed some improvement. Then I started moisturizing my face with coconut oil and doing the nightly cleaning with coconut oil and have noticed a HUGE difference in my skin tone! Much more even, less ruddy and I don't look like Rudolph the red nosed reindeer all the time! :D :p

In the beginning of January, I did 13 colonics over three weeks while juice fasting three days per week, and eating sprouts, vegetables, seeds, and some fruits the other four days per week. And drinking lots of wheatgrass! The rosacea cleared almost 100% by the end of the three weeks.
Since then, the rosacea has creeped back in along with some cooked food and more sugar content (coming from dried fruit, fruit, and agave nectar). The cooked food and non-vegan food I eat are: fish, rice, root vegetables, cooked veg, and popcorn.
My raw foods are: lots of fruit, and greens (green smoothies), salads.
My days are raw, and dinners are a combination of cooked and raw, or just cooked.
I would find it nearly impossible to follow what I did the first three weeks at home. When I did the first three weeks, I was on retreat doing the program with another 130 people, so it was easy.
I've been doing the oil cleansing method which I like. I thought it was helping, and then I had the worst rosacea flair-up I've had since I was fully SAD. I don't know if I'm allergic to anything I'm eating right now.
I wish I could find a happy medium. I'm not wanting to eat only wheatgrass, sprouts, veg, and seeds.
I think stress may be a major contributor for me. I was so relaxed on retreat and at home I feel like I am in a state of anxiety a lot of the time.
