I love this woman who does our yoga classes. She's totally about lengthening our bodies. She has a very soft voice. She is very gentle in placing us into our poses. I just love being in her class. She has a dvd, believe 30 minutes, and they are available by contacting her directly. Her website is:

You can mention one of her classmates, Carol, sent you over to her site from the Arvada club.

I pulled it up, no problem. How challenging is the DVD? I like to do a fairly strenuous yoga practice. It's a beautiful site by the way.

Hi all,
For me only doing yoga since August she really, really emphasizes lengthening. I don't see other teachers keep repeating this. She's very specific and clear with every detail for all levels. I don't class like a cardio kick "butt' class, but she does challenge our poses for those more advanced too. She's more of a soft voice, gentle, humble lady about late 40's or early 50's. She would be great for any hour of the day, but morning would be great as I do her class in the morning with her, but also some evening classes at the gym too.

I don't see myself as exhausted once I leave that I can't do anything else, but I know that following her I was surely lengthening oneself.

Maybe she needs to put a link on there so that others can see her in action. I need to mention that to her. She doesn't show any signs of greed either. Locally she has just gone up to $10 for I believe a one hour yoga class. Our classes do get full so I know others are enjoying her.

I won't see her till Monday eve. I will email her and see if she has an samples of herself online for you all to geet a better feel.

I don't know how to operate our DVD so I have not invested in her DVD yet. I enjoy being in her class and have time to do that often. She has a very relaxing voice. I wish I could describe it better. Seems like a little British tone and her English is not great, but it is understandable.

Hope this helps. I think it is a 30 minute workout on DVD.

Thanks.....I just e-mailed her, inquiring more about the DVD. 30 minutes is just about what I'd like at times.

Aleesha and all,
Glad to share. This is what I believe we are all here to do so well. I sure wish the career world operated this well. Yoga teacher: if ordering ask her for any handouts she may be giving to her classes as well.

(My dream of speaking and writing I'm hoping will become reality soon to encourage many folks. I always loved standing in front of an audience or hearing myself talk on the phone, etc. so working to pursue that presence. Communication at the moment is my gig...power of words (wrong/right ones impact)...conflict...laughter...all tied together with a bow before people. Marketing for others easy, for self challenge without contacts still. Working on that, but need to do it more.)

I'm here if you have questions and here if I can help.

Back later. Have a great day.

i received my copy today and immediately popped it into my dvd player.

this is not a dvd for you to work out with. there are no warm up exercises, and no cool downs either. it's focused on specific poses for people who want to strengthen their backs.

the downside to this dvd is that she doesn't do both sides... she does one and then says, "repeat this on the other side/leg". then moves onto another pose. so you have to stop your dvd, rewind and do the other side. pain in the butt in my world. for me... yoga is flow and having to fuss with my dvd player throughout is not flow.

so, although the poses are great, i don't recommend this dvd to others. HOWEVER, if you have back problems and want to learn some poses to strengthen it... then this could be a great tool for you!!!

raw yogini, no this is not a dvd for you. it's just a handful of poses... not what i think you'd be interested in.
