I want to drink acai juice for the health benefits but I heard the frozen imported stuff was not as potent as fresh so I bought some very pretty Acai Palms. Does anyone have any experience growing them? They are in my greenhouse and I have a solar water heating system. They seem to be doing well. But I could use some advice.
Also thinking about selling my fresh berries.
Has anyone else bought from this company?

That is their website. They claim you can grow these palms anywhere, not just in Brazil.
I am looking for recipes too.

Wow! Yet another thing for me to try to grow. My neighbors already think I've lost my mind! I think I will try to get a few. I've been researching greenhouses anyway.

I've always thought there was a reason it grew in Brazil and never heard of any growing in the U. S. Plants will grow anywhere but will they produce Fruit. I wish you the Best with it and keep us posted on the progress.

They cannot grow outside if the tempertures get near freezing. They grow as big as regular palm trees.Don't know at what height they would bear fruit. Expect a few years or even decades to see fruit.
