Hi everyone! I've been raw on and off over the years, two weeks at a time, six weeks at a time, one week at a time, one month at a time, over and over. Never could stick with it long term.
Each time I come back to this awesome board thinking, "this is it! This is the time I stay 100% forever!"
well, today I say, THIS time I am 100% for TODAY. For today, one day at a time, I choose to be 100%. I realize I can do this ONE day at a time. Will I do it forever? I have NO clue. But TODAY, I can. Today I choose to.
Also, I realized that I need to eat a LOT more greens, and less fats. I think getting really high nutrients will ground me and give me the nutrition to stay raw. After all this experience, that's what seems to work the best.
I took Alissa's teacher training 3 years ago, it was awesome. What I've found works best for me is to eat SIMPLY. but the recipes were so fun to play around with, and great when first coming into raw.
Mostly staying raw, I've found, is about being spiritually at peace and being willing to face my feelings, forgive myself for making up beliefs that I am unworthy, and loving those parts that have experienced hurt. This is making the difference to be able to handle the very high vibration that raw food puts me into.
Viva la raw!!
Love and blessings! Theresa :)
