You know when a recipe goes right and it is so good you just absoultley Love being Raw and there is no better food on the planet. Well that is the way I feel tonight. This recipe is so great. I adjusted the recipe with more tomatoes and far less garlic than called for and this was awesome. I love the hemp seed in place of the bulgar wheat. I also made another tabouli recipe with Quinoa once and didn't care for it - but the hemp seed is SO much better! This is a great replacement for traditional tabouli.:D

To die for - really!

Anyone else ever make this recipe?

I don't have that recipe, but I do have some hemp seed that I didn't know what to do with. Do you soak the seed first?

Mediterranean Tabouli

For the salad: Chop up ingredients

6 bunches fresh parsley (process with s-blade)
1 cup of chopped cherry tomatoes
1/2 cup hemp seeds (no soaking required)
1/2 cup chopped yellow onion

For the Dressing: (blend in a blender)

1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
5 cloves of garlic, peeled

He uses a ton of garlic which is way too much for my tastes (I used 2 with 3 bunches of parsley)

Again I saw this recipe. Planning on making it later. I have beefsteak tomatoes and not enough parsley but will use what I have and call it delish. I will go with less oil too.

If you wanted to use sprouted quinoa instead of hemp seeds, how much would you use??

oh my goodness yes. i was absolutely FLOORED the first time that i made it - who knew agave and lemon juice makes the most delicious dressing that ever existed?

glad you liked it too :)

eta: just saw the recipe morn posted... not what i remembered the rawvolution recipe being so i don't know where i got this from because it's not something i'd ever have thought to try - but next time you make tabouli try it with a lemon juice/agave dressing instead of the one morn posted.
